Rebecca has over 15 years’ experience as an osteopath, having qualified in 2011. Alongside her osteopathic practice she is an advanced Pilates teacher, which gives her an unusually rounded approach to rehabilitation – combining hands-on treatment with exercise-based recovery.
Over her career she has treated a wide range of patients, from those with everyday aches and stiffness to people managing complex, long-standing injuries that need ongoing care, with a particular focus on spinal injuries and equestrian injuries.
Rebecca offers a holistic, whole-body approach to musculoskeletal health, tailored to each patient. Her treatments include:
Every patient receives a thorough assessment and a personalised treatment plan designed to restore mobility, build strength and address the underlying cause of the problem — not just the symptoms.
Rebecca is a fully registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the statutory regulator for osteopaths in the UK – by law, anyone practising as an osteopath must be GOsC-registered. Her registration number is 8000, which can be verified on the GOsC online register. She is also fully insured and Enhanced DBS-checked.
Rebecca holds a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy from Oxford Brookes University, where she trained, qualifying in 2011. She is a registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and an advanced Pilates teacher, with additional training in primitive reflex integration. She is fully insured, Enhanced DBS-checked, and maintains her skills and knowledge through regular continuing professional development (CPD).
Rebecca specialises in spinal injuries and has particular expertise in horse-riding and equestrian injuries, informed by her own long background with horses. More broadly, her combination of osteopathy and advanced Pilates makes her especially strong in functional movement, rehabilitation and exercise-based recovery – helping patients move better and stay stronger after treatment ends.
Rebecca doesn’t work with health insurers, so all osteopathy appointments are on a self-pay basis. You’re welcome to ask your insurer whether they’ll reimburse self-funded treatment, but payment is taken directly at the time of your appointment.
No referral is needed. You can book directly with Rebecca as a private patient, without seeing your GP first. If you’re claiming on health insurance, some providers do require a GP or consultant referral before they’ll cover treatment, so check your policy’s requirements with your insurer before booking.
For private (self-funded) patients, Rebecca’s fees are:
Your first appointment is longer to allow time for a detailed assessment and an initial treatment plan, with follow-up sessions focused on your ongoing rehabilitation.
Booking is easy and can be done in whichever way suits you best:
Simply choose your preferred option and we’ll get you booked in. If you have any questions about which appointment you need, feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
Rebecca Parish is a registered osteopath and advanced Pilates teacher based in White Waltham, Maidenhead, with over 15 years’ experience helping people move freely, recover from injury and stay active for the long term.
Since qualifying in 2011, Rebecca has built her practice around a simple belief: lasting recovery comes from treating the whole person, not just the symptom. She combines hands-on osteopathic treatment with advanced Pilates instruction and exercise-based rehabilitation – a blend that helps patients restore mobility, build genuine strength and regain confidence in how they move.
Rebecca has a particular focus on spinal injuries, and brings a special understanding to horse-riding and equestrian injuries, drawn from her own long background with horses.
Whether you’re dealing with everyday aches and stiffness or a complex, long-standing problem, she takes the time to assess what’s really going on – looking at posture, biomechanics and movement patterns to address the underlying cause rather than just easing the symptoms.
Her care is patient-centred and evidence-informed. Alongside hands-on treatment and personalised exercise prescription, Rebecca draws on additional expertise in primitive reflex integration, and empowers patients through education, movement re-education and practical lifestyle strategies that support long-term wellbeing. She keeps her practice current through regular CPD.
A registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council, Rebecca is fully insured and Enhanced DBS-checked. If you’re looking for an osteopath in Maidenhead or White Waltham who treats the whole body – and helps you not just feel better, but recover faster and stay better – Rebecca looks forward to meeting you.

As a competitive swimmer I was referred to Minal by a consultant and she has been brilliant ever since. I have had a few different versions of a shoulder injury, and every time she is able to spot exactly the problem, and give me exercises to address it. She also uses dry needling to address muscle tightness, and this has fixed many flare ups. I have recommended Minal to all my teammates and friends, and wouldn’t see anyone else now!Posted on Google IvoneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Minal! From the very first session, she was incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely compassionate. She takes the time to really listen, understand my concerns, and tailor each session to exactly what I need. What truly sets her apart is her encouragement and positivity. On days when progress felt slow, she always found a way to motivate me and remind me how far I’d come. Her reassurance and belief in my recovery made such a difference, not just physically but mentally as well. Thanks to her expertise and consistent support, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my strength, movement, and confidence. I’m so grateful for the impact she’s had on my recovery journey. Watching my mother go through physiotherapy, I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am for the care she has received. From the very beginning Minal has been kind, patient, and incredibly compassionate. Minal treats my mother with such warmth and respect, always taking the time to listen and make her feel comfortable and understood. What stands out most is how motivating Minal is. Recovery hasn’t always been easy, but she constantly encourages my mother, celebrates every bit of progress, and gently pushes her to keep going when things feel tough. You can see how much she genuinely cares, not just about the physical improvement, but about my mother’s overall wellbeing and confidence. The difference in my mother since starting treatment has been remarkable. She’s stronger, more mobile, and so much more positive. As a family member, it’s reassuring to know she’s in such capable and compassionate hands. Following carpal tunnel surgery and trigger finger release surgery I was fortunate enough to have a very constructive and helpful physio session with Ms Minal Desai, a specialist hand therapist. Minal was very kind and gentle and exceedingly informative about the correct exercises to do going forward. A lovely lady, thank you Minal.Posted on Google Clare Young (UK)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Minal was brilliant. I thought my shoulder was damaged for life. Minal identified the problem, released the muscle, showed me exercises. It was so much better after week 1. Week 2 Minal showed me that I could make fast movements without pain. Since then Ive been using my shoulder normally and building strength.Posted on Google Mehul KapadiaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Exceptional care and attention! I visited them for elbow joint pain. Ms. Desai was extremely methodical in understanding the issues, related very well to my lifestyle, sports, gym habits and then did a very structured mix of physio and acupuncture treatment. Within one treatment I got substantial relief and then within 3 sessions had reached a point of total relief. I would highly recommend. I have saved the contact details on my mobile to ensure that this is my first call if ever I needed a physio treatment!Posted on Google Gary LeggTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a cycling accident in 2022 that resulted in a shoulder fracture, I was referred to Minal by my orthopaedic surgeon, Mr G Sforza. I had six physiotherapy sessions with her, and the results were excellent. Her treatment approach, clear explanations, tailored exercises, and helpful videos were instrumental in restoring my left shoulder’s range of movement from very poor to normal. She is highly knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout the recovery process. I am extremely grateful to have been under Minal’s care and would strongly recommend her, especially for shoulder and upper body injuries.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
